summer camps at the nature school

July 1st - 5th, 9am-12pm

Ages 2.5 - 4 years old

There’s a magical story happening in the garden! Children will love becoming garden ecologists and storytellers with fun games, stories, art, and plenty of messy play in the soil, sun and water. At the end of the week children will take home their own mini gardens and magical stories to tell!

August 5th - 9th, 9am-1pm

Ages 4 - 8 years old

This camp is all about the freedom and fun of childhood summers! Each day features The Nature School children’s most loved nature-inspired activities, plus plenty of free play for children to unleash their own wild imaginations and discoveries. 

Children are invited to jump in the sprinkler, make mud pies, build fairy houses, set imaginations soaring in the tree fort, snack on veggies from the garden, feed our pet ducks, scout for insects, create art under the fir tree, experiment with natural science, run, roll, climb and dance, while making summertime memories to last a lifetime. 

August 12th - 16th

Ages 4 - 10 years old

The Art of Nature is our most popular program!

Children connect with their own wild imaginations while discovering nature's beauties and surprises through art, storytelling, games and music. We’ll investigate the shapes and patterns that underpin the natural world and cosmos, explore prehistoric art and symbols throughout time, create nature journals, and learn from the works of other artists who have been inspired by nature.

In this mixed-age camp, older campers are invited to be leaders, helping the younger children, and co-creating our camp curriculum, with mentorship and support from Teacher Summer.

August 19th - 23rd, 9am - 1pm

Ages 4 - 10 years old

Children will track nature's magical surprises and tell enchanted stories, bringing the art of nature to life through their own wild imaginations! They'll build fairy houses, paint with natural pigments, mix scientific potions, and uncover the ways their creativity and imaginations are wondrously connected with the natural world.

In this mixed-age camp, older campers are invited to be leaders, helping the younger children, and co-creating our camp curriculum, with mentorship and support from Teacher Summer.
