Up in the Garden, Down in the Dirt

Up in the Garden, Down in the Dirt

July 6th-10th, 9am-1pm

Ages 5 - 10 years old

Inspired by the beloved children's book Up in the Garden, Down in the Dirt by Kate Messner, children will dive into the lively, wiggly world of the garden.

As campers plant seeds, water sprouts, and care for growing plants, they discover the essential roles that insects, worms, and other small creatures play in helping gardens grow, bloom, and renew themselves.

Through hands-on exploration, close observation, and imaginative play, children hunt for insects, observe them with magnifiers, build bug and worm habitats, and explore compost as a place of transformation and new life.

Nature-based art, movement games, and storytelling bring the garden ecosystem to life, helping children understand the cycles of growth, decay, and regeneration.

Dragon Treasures & Fairy Friends

August 10th-14th, 9am-1pm

Ages 5 - 10 years old

Step into a world of wonder where nature, art, and storytelling come alive! In this magical camp, children will explore the enchanting connection between creativity and the natural world through imaginative play, artistic expression, and adventurous games.

Children will embark on playful quests, uncover hidden treasures, and craft their own magical artifacts using natural materials. Through storytelling and interactive games, they’ll bring to life tales of forest guardians, wise old dragons, and mischievous fairy friends.

Each day, we’ll weave together the art of nature with hands-on projects like painting with earth pigments, crafting fairy homes, designing treasure maps, and sculpting mythical creatures from clay.

In the spirit of adventure, we’ll follow clues left by the fairies, learn the secrets of the forest, and discover the magic hidden in the world around us.
